We just wanted to let you know that we’ve been more than delighted with the new sun blinds – talk about good timing – definitely couldn’t have predicted this weather when the flat was being refurbished at Easter and it was snowing!! We are still finishing off bits and pieces – furniture etc but when recently flying back after a holiday, we both said how much we were looking forward to getting back to our lovely “new” flat – we loved it before & even more so now you’ve helped us do all the things on our wish list. You transformed an unusable bathroom into a wonderful warm and light space with great shower, another lavatory, airing cupboard and more – just miraculous. I can hardly believe that I have inhabited this flat for already, over a year! This has been a trouble-free period – everything perfect (apart from the problem with the blind which was so quickly resolved.) My delight is reflected in the many friends who have visited me here – they are all enthusiastic. I realise that I am very lucky in having quite the best flat in the whole Barbican.
However, I do now have a small problem about which i need your advice. Something is faulty with the shower head in the bathroom. It sends jets of water up to the ceiling as well as downwards! I can’t seem to improve it myself, and suspect a new shower head may be necessary. Can you please help me with this?
It may interest you to know that only this morning a representative from a local estate agent on admiring the flat interior asked me who had done the work. He was not surprised when I told him it was Thomson Brothers as “Their work is always quite excellent” he responded!
NB Luke’s advice was that the nozzles just needed to be rubbed over with fingers to dislodge the usual build-up of limescale. This should be carried out frequently.

I haven’t stopped smiling since I saw it last night and I am completely blown away by how amazing it looks! I am in absolute awe of the skill and craftsmanship of your team and feel very lucky to be able to enjoy the fruits of their labour. Everyone I have spoken to from your team throughout this whole process has been nothing but helpful, thoughtful and most of all incredibly patient! Massive thanks of course to both of you as well, for your unending help and oversight. It has been so reassuring to know that the project was safe in your hands and I really have appreciated your guidance as we have moved through the whole process from design to the end result. You are both so generous with your time and were so available whenever I needed to ask anything that the process all felt amazingly stress free!
